Derwent Danceworks

Derwent Danceworks was founded in 2009 by Miss Kate Womersley AIDTA and offers a wide range of classes in a number of venues across the York area. We offer IDTA exams as well as performance opportunities including our large scale bi-annual show. Our staff are highly experienced and have clear current DBS checks.

Miss Kate holds three Associate qualifications at Honours/Distinction level and continues along with our other staff to study and broaden her experience. Our wide ranging timetable offers something for everyone- from Pre Juvenile Ballet classes to Boys Only Street classes. Derwent Danceworks’ main branch is in Thorganby, conveniently situated between York and Selby and we also have other classes much closer to York city centre. See our website for more details.
