Footlights Dance School

Footlights dance school was set up by dance teacher Michelle Handley, a Shrewsbury based mum of two and primary school teacher.

. Classes are held at Mereside Community Centre and the United Reform Church in Shrewsbury, and at Merridale primary school in Wolverhampton.

. Students can join Footlights from the age of three. Classes follow the IDTA and ISTD syllabuses with exams taking place twice a year. There is also a Footlights dance show, which takes place every two years at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury.
