JSD Dance & Musical Theatre

JSD Dance & Musical Theatre, originally known as Joy’s School of Dancing, was established in 1975. We have always been based locally and run classes in both Upminster and Rainham. We pride ourselves on our reputation of providing a friendly, fun and welcoming environment, together with the passion and dedication from our team of staff. It is always a pleasure when we see our pupils grow in confidence and self-esteem, make new friends, and they grow up with us until university or employment sadly takes them away!

We offer classes in Commercial, Freestyle, Latin, Ballroom, and Musical Theatre. Our pupils have the opportunity to take International Dance Teacher Association (IDTA) examinations and take part in yearly shows.

We are members of the IDTA, all our teachers have valid up-to-date CRB checks and are first aid trained, and we hold full public liability for both staff and children.
