Terry School of Dance

Within the Terry School of Dance we believe it is important for our pupils to be able to experience as many different dance styles as possible so that they get the most out of their dance education. We have been operating as a dance school for over 30 years with a number of our pupils being nominated for Scholarships within the International Dance Teachers Association. The aim of the dancing school is to not only teach the pupils to dance but to help them gain in confidence and the discipline needed will give them a good grounding for life. We offer tuition in the following subjects; Tap, Ballet, Gymnastic Dance, Modern Jazz, Freestyle, Street, Theatrecraft and Musical Theatre. We take part in regular Examinations with the IDTA and the pupils have the opportunity to take part in Festivals twice a year where they compete against pupils from other schools. To allow the pupils to achieve their own individual goals we provide private tuition as well as class lessons.
