The Company Performing Arts

Since being founded in 2011 by ex professional dancer and choreographer Aaron Lissimore, ‘The Company’ has fast become the first choice for parents and students looking for the ultimate performing arts training here in Essex. The high standards of training, endless performance opportunities and success of graduating students has earned the Colchester and Clacton based school a reputation for quality within the performing arts sector both locally and nationally.

The Company Performing Arts offers over 70 different dance and performance classes a week for boys and girls aged 2-19yrs. Classes are held in Marks Tey, Colchester and Clacton on Sea on weekday afternoons and at weekends. The Company boasts 100% pass rate in accredited ISTD, IDTA and RAD examinations and offers students the opportunity to participate in local, national and international performances and competitions.

The Company is a Recognised School with the Council for Dance Education and Training and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice. CDET’s Recognised School Award demonstrates to students, parents and guardians that they adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard young people whether dancing for leisure or with an eye to a career in the profession.

The Company is proud to offer all their students the opportunity to partake in examinations, competitions, performances and events. It is a totally non selective school who welcomes new students of all ages throughout the year.
