Ballet North offer dance classes to all ages following the world renowned International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) Syllabus.
Taught by IDTA accredited teachers, students are encouraged to develop their natural ability and creativity in a safe and friendly environment, with an equal emphasis placed on technique, discipline and enjoyment.
Based in Islington, North London and Hackney, East London Ballet North offers a variety of private and group dance classes including Baby Ballet, Boys Ballet, one on one tuition, Musical Theatre, Creative Dance Parties and Wedding Dance choreography.
Nurturing talent from beginners to professionals, Ballet North’s ethos is that dance should be encouraged, shared and enjoyed by all.

- Jennifer TealeDirector/ Principal
Jennifer commenced her dance training from a young age and possesses a wealth of theatrical experience from performing for HM The Queen, to winning awards at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Originally from Yorkshire, Jennifer began her dance career in Musical Theatre before gaining a place at Delfos School of Contemporary Dance, Mexico, to train with the prestigious Delfos Danza Company. Jennifer then returned to London to complete her studies, graduating with a First Class Honors BA Dance Performance from Middlesex University.
Passionate about teaching, Jennifer studied to become an Associate of the IDTA and has taught in renowned dance schools nationwide for over ten years.
Jennifer thoroughly enjoys teaching and encouraging others and sharing her love of dance.
Chloe SeniorBallet and Tap TeacherChloe began her training at the age of two at her local dance school in Nottingham, where she studied Ballet, Tap and Modern. As her passion for dance grew she continued to learn Ballroom, Street and Acro, as well as developing her singing and acting, which prompted her to study a degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy, where she graduated with a First Class Degree in 2013.
Chloe has performed as a dancer numerous times in the pantomimes at The Theatre Royal, Newark and was also an associate at New English Contemporary Ballet School, most recently she performed with Union Dance Company during a residency at Rich Mix, London.
Chloe is excited to join the Ballet North team and is passionate about working with children and the community. She is also currently working within community dance and theatre, with companies such as SLiDE (South London Inclusive Dance Experience), Chickenshed and Union Dance.
