Dance academy of Volos is open by March 2003 in N.Dimitriada. The school was created by the responsible faculty Despoina Akrivou – which is a dance teacher, choreographer, coach competing groups and dance couples, with many entries and distinctions at national level – with care and love for the art of dance.
The school is directing at people of any age who just want to dance! There are courses for beginners and advanced levels, for amateurs and professionals, for children and for adults who want to feel the freedom of movement that the dance gives.
Our school and its members have also participated in 2 Record Guinness!!!
Largest Sirtaki in the world-Volos Beach on 31/08/2012 with 5,614 dancers!
In the largest salsa rueda at Aristotelous Square in Thessaloniki on 06.01.2014 with 1104 dancers!
