Hello and welcome to Dance on Broadway, located in South East London and offering a range of Dance classes in your area for children and adults.
DANCE ON BROADWAY provides quality dance training. Our approach to children’s dance develops self-discipline, self-respect and confidence fostering creativity and appreciation for dance and music.
Our objective is to see you, your children spending their dancing year in a process of continuous growth and learning, focusing on education rather than preparation.
The importance of play and its role in emphasizing dance technique, coordination and free expression is a central theme in our classes.
Why not reduce your carbon footprint and save money at the same time. We provide tap shoes for free! On joining our tap classes, children and adults are fitted for shoes and provided with a personal shoe bag which is stored at the venue. Shoes are periodically changed as little feet grow or (big feet change)
Show time can very expensive for parents – dance shoes, costumes, tickets, travel expenses. Phew!! Dance on Broadway charges a small production fee to cover costume storage throughout the year (yes we provide the costumes) and keep ticket prices to a minimum. So what are you waiting for!
Ballet shoes and dance gear can also be bought from dob shop.

Licentiate inTapSharon has been a freelance community dance teacher working with both adults and children for over 30 years. She trained at Goldsmiths College and the IDTA. and worked as a professional dancer in cabaret, performance art and theatre in education before entering the teaching profession.
As well as managing and teaching at Dance on Broadway, Sharon also runs Line Dance classes for Joy (Just Older Youths), Music and Movement for Under 5's and their Parent/Carers (Rachel McMillan Nursery and Quaggy Nursery) and Tap classes for Morley College. She also is involved in voluntary work locally and nationally including fundraising for Cancer Research, WWF (dancing bears), Children In Need and more recently as an audience leader in the opening and closing ceremonies of The Paralympics
Scott CampbellAssistant TutorScott is a Freelance Dance Artist, based in the South East London area. Scott has experience in performance, choreography, teaching and leading workshops
Scott teaches at Dance on Broadway, John Ball Primary school (as an after school club teacher) and Candle Dance (based in Bethnal Green, assisting classes for older men who have problems with both physical and mental problems)
From the age of 11, Scott took part in Kingsmead Technology College's annual school productions. After completing High School, Scott continued his education at Stafford College completing a BTEC National Diploma in Performing arts.
In September 2010 Scott started his BA Joint Honours Degree in Dance Performance and Musical Theatre Performance at the University of Cumbria and trained in the genres of ballet, jazz, contact improvisation, Cunningham and Graham. Scott Campbell has recently completed his Masters Degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has been working for Dance on Broadway for over a year.
Scott has been dancing for nearly 10 years now, working with the IDTA syllabus throughout. -
