Specialising in children’s theatre dance and with over 21 years experience, Principal of Dancetec, Tricia Robinson works with her daughter Alyx Robinson to encourage children of all ages to learn to dance in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

Our dance classes cover a wide range of styles from Ballet through to Street Dance.

We have an excellent local reputation and have achieved 100% examination pass rates since establishment in 1997.

Tricia Robinson

Principal

Tricia is a life member of the International Dance Teachers Association, with an Associate in Theatrecarft, Licentiate of the Ballet Faculty and has a Fellowship in Tap Dancing.

With over 20 years experience,Tricia introduces dance to beginners and then builds their technique through the various disciplines.

Dancetec has staged many pantomimes and dance productions raising thousands of pounds for charities at home and abroad.

This small family run dance school has an excellent local reputation.

Many pupils have gone on to professional careers either performing or as dance teachers.

Alyx Robinson

Assistant Teacher

Alyx has been dancing since she was 3 years old. At 23 she qualified as a dance teacher in Tap in 2013.

She is continuing her studies and is currently preparing for Associate Ballet.

She has a special aptitude for freestyle and modern dance and enjoys choreography.
