The main aspect of the school is to pass on the love of dance, to children, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Not only does belonging to a dance school help social skills, it also helps self confidence. whether your child wants to attend one lesson a week just for fun, or take things alittle more serious, we are here to nurture their needs.
Pupils are Trained within the IDTA Syllabus. in which exams are run once or twice a year. Although exams are not compulsary, learning through the IDTA will teach the pupils in a structured manner.
Our exam pass mark is 100%The school hosts a biannual show in which every pupil gets the chance to perform on stage. This is always a huge success and leads into raising money for local charities.

The Helen Lamb School of Dance was established in 1989, training children of all ages, and abilities, to an extremely high standard in Ballet,Tap, Modern Jazz, Freestyle, Gymnastic dance and Musical Theatre.
Before opening the school Helen worked as a professional dancer in this country, and also touring round Japan and south Korea.
Helen has choreographed for amateur companies with their annual pantomines and musicals.
