We offer classes to adults covering a variety of dance styles, including Ballroom. We offer classes to adults and children covering a variety of dance styles, including Ballroom & Latin, Salsa, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Latin Line dancing, from absolute beginners to the more advanced dancer.

Our classes are held at a number of different venues around Northwich, most of which have a licensed bar. All our adult classes are for the social dancer and we strive to provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere throughout.

Professional teacher training for all Ballroom Branch subjects is also available.

Amanda Kirby

Principal

Amanda started dancing at the age of 10. She very quickly got the dancing bug and by the age of 14 she was helping out with the young childrens' classes at her local dance school in Worcestershire, where she started studying towards becoming a qualified teacher. She gained her first Teaching qualification with the IDTA at the age of 21 and she continued to take qualifications (all with the highest grades) over the following 6 years to achieve full teaching status in all Ballroom branches, namely: Modern Ballroom, Latin American, Salsa, Classical Sequence, Country Line Dancing, Keep Fit and Freestyle.

Then, after moving to Northwich, Amanda set up Northwich Dance Company in 2003. The business has steadily built-up since then to offer classes four evenings per week, together with childrens' classes after school twice weekly.

Amanda is qualified to Fellowship level in Latin & Freestyle and is currently studying towards taking Fellowship Ballroom.
