Reddam House Dance School

A Dance School within Reddam House Berkshire through school for nursery to sixth form offering IDTA freestyle, modern & tap and RAD Ballet. Students attend the Reddam House School within one of the three schools; Early Learning School, Junior School and Senior School including 6th form. Dance is on the curriculum from Stage 4, through year 1-6 and into year 7-9 for 1 hour a week. GCSE & A Level Dance is then offered for students to opt for. The extra activities include a busy IDTA freestyle club, Hip Hop, Auditioned Dance Company, Pre-Primary Ballet, Primary Ballet, Grade 3 Ballet, Primary Tap & Grade 1 Tap. We are lucky to have a specialist gymnastic school onsite to support the acro and gymnastic skills of the students. During term time students are offered tasters into various Dance styles in their lessons and Wednesday afternoon activities. On Saturdays an external teacher offers Cheerleading which is another growing subject. At Reddam House we like to perform on a regular basis with shows once a term, and performances in assemblies and showcases. We are looking to expand as student numbers grow, this has happened rapidly since Septemeber 2016.
