Fun and friendly classes in all the social dances are on offer throughout the week at Spooner Row (conveniently located in central Norfolk just off the A11) and at Saham Toney near Watton, where we also run The Jive Club (Norfolk) for classes in Modern Jive.
Our aim is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere, whether you are learning for that special occasion, a holiday, or to extend your leisure and social activities.
In addition, we hold IDTA medal tests twice a year, so that you can focus on style and technique to progress your dancing, should you want to.
We love dancing – and we want you to love it too!
Whatever your level – beginner, improver, social dancer, medallist, professional – there’s something for you at Simply Dance!

Sandra Boatman

Principal

Sandra first qualified with the IDTA in 1980. She worked as an Assistant Teacher before opening her own school in 1987. She moved to Norfolk in 1994 where she opened her current school.
During this time, she continued to take her professional examinations, qualifying as an Examiner in 1997 in Ballroom, Latin and Classical Sequence. She retired from examining just over 10 years later to focus on her school, and is now an Honorary Examiner.
She has trained many professionals, and a number have gone on to run their own successful schools.
She continues to offer professional training in the 3 branches.
Sandra loves teaching at all levels, both in classes and privately, and hopes her enthusiasm for dance will inspire others to want to dance too!

Peter Cockburn

Assistant Teacher

Peter qualified with the IDTA in 2005 and assists at several classes during the week.
He also runs his own classes at different venues and has taught on cruise ships.

John Scallan

Trainee / Assistant Teacher

John assists several classes throughout the week, particularly as demonstrator at The Jive Club (Norfolk).

Linzi Mace

Assistant Trainee Teacher

Linzi assists at the Saham Toney classes and at some workshops at Spooner Row while continuing her professional training.
