Susie Jenkins School of Dance teaches syllabus ballet & modern jazz for children aged 3 and upwards. Contemporary is introduced from grade 2, to enhance the students’ expression in dance & musicality.
There is also a streetdance crew for children not wishing to partake in exam classes. All students will have the opportunity to partake in school shows.

Susie started dancing at two years old, with the Janice Wilson School of Dancing in Middleborough, where she trained in the R.A.D. Ballet grade syllabus, and the B.A.T.D. tap and modern syllabus. At eighteen she continued her professional training with Phil Winston’s TheatreWorks, in Blackpool. Here she gained her IDTA majors and Associates in Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap. She also trained the TheatreWorks Juniors. Susie joined Showstoppers Worldwide Productions in 2007 for her first professional contract ‘Venetian Masquerade’. Since then she has enjoyed a variety of contracts including two cruise ship show teams, for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and various hotel show teams, as both dancer and dance captain, across Egypt, Spain and Cyprus. Susie gained her first professional choreography credits with ‘The Sandbay Show Company’ in 2013 and in 2014 joining Gary Starr Pantomimed Ltd, with credits including Tinkerbell (Peter Pan), Glinda (The Wizard of Oz), and Ugly Sister (Cinderella). Susie joined The Academy Theatre in its production of Dick Whittington for Christmas 2014 and completed her performing career working as choreographer and dancer in Cyprus. Susie is a qualified IDTA dance teacher and is experienced teaching children and students of all ages.
Anne JenkinsGuest TeacherAnne started dancing at three years old, with the Janice Wilson School of Dance in Middlesborough. Here she gainged many RAD and BATD examinations and awards. She also won many medals and trophies in local festivals and competitions. Anne furthered her training with Middlesborough College and Teeside University, gaining an HND in Dance, specialising in the teaching of school age children.
