Alexanders School of Dance & Theatre

We have always been based locally and currently teach Preparatory – Intermediate in all the Theatre Branch styles. Alexanders is more than just a dance school, we nurture, we praise and encourage every student and to see them grow in confidence and create friendships is something quite special and rewarding. Everyone knows everyone at Alexanders and this is achieved by having amazing teaching staff who have all been pupils of the school from a young age and understand the ethos of the school. When pupils join our school they join our family and it is only University or Employment that takes them away. We provide extra performing opportunities: Sadlers Wells, Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre,Port Aventura-Spain and Disneyland Paris. For pupils who wish to perform professionally they have the opportunity to attend auditions and we are proud announce we have a student currently performing in Billy Elliot. The School bi-annual production is held at a local theatre which is a very exciting and busy time for us all. We host Charity Cabaret evenings from our senior members to perform in local venues in Essex. Our Musical Theatre group are always busy preparing for their next performance
