Dance Stars UK was established by Debbie Fullilove in 2011. All students with a positive work ethic and desire to improve are welcome, regardless of ability. . We are currently based predominantly in Pontefract and offer classes in a wide range of dance and performance disciplines for children aged 3+. Each class is fun and engaging whilst improving pupils’ technique, physical fitness and creativity. . Our pupils are encouraged to undertake a range of extra-curricular activities from dance exams (under both the ISTD and IDTA syllabuses) to competing in dance festivals and competitions. From time to time we also offer our pupils the chance to perform on a professional stage, such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, London (home of the Phantom of the Opera) in 2013, Wakefield Theatre in 2014 and the upcoming performance at “The World’s No.1 International Dance Venue”, Sadler’s Wells, London in May 2016. . Outside of term we hold musical theatre camps where pupils develop and perform in a themed show for parents. We regularly invite guest teachers into our school for fun specialist workshops to supplement timetabled classes.
