Deana Morgan Academy

Established in 1999 and run in its own state of the art studios the school is named after its active Principal, Deana Morgan. The Deana Morgan Academy (DMA) offers over 60 classes a week in all disciplines. Recognised by the CDET as a pre-vocational training provider the school has considerable success in preparing children for full time training and subsequent careers in the industry.

Former students include Kimberley Walsh (Girls Aloud), Damien Poole (Grease, Gypsy, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Shrek – West End), Joshua Barwick (Northern Ballet, Rambert & NEBT), Daniella and Joshua Ockerby (P&O Cruises), Aine Curran (Mamma Mia), Blue Woodward (Mamma Mia, South Pacific, Priscilla, Oh What a Lovely War!), and many more!

Deana’s past experience as a professional dancer also influences the lavish productions that she produces at the Alhambra Theatre and in the fact the children are encouraged to perform on some of the world’s most exciting stages.
