Elev8 Studios Dance Academy

ELEV8 STUDIOS is led by industry professionals from the full spectrum of dance and theatre arts. This enables us to offer the widest range of class options throughout our Dance Academy’s. From Glow Babies to Silver Swans & everything in between, there really is something for everyone!

We moved to our studios in Bedford in 2019. Formerly known as Brocklesby Academy of Dance, our school maintains a friendly, family ethos and having our own premises has given pupils a real sense of ownership and community. Located on St Loyes Street, it’s easily accessible from all areas of town.

When the opportunity to spread our wings and expand our dance family in Ampthill arose, we jumped at the chance. Maurice Kachuk had decided it was time to hang up his teaching hat and we were thrilled to take over his lovely studio. We will be integrating some exciting new subjects to the existing timetable and look forward to seeing everyone in classes this Autumn.

ELEV8 STUDIOS DANCE ACADEMY teachers are registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and International Dance Teachers Association, enabling them to offer examinations in RAD Ballet & ISTD Tap & Greek, LAMDA S&D and IDTA Modern Jazz. Angela & Sarah were amongst the first teachers in the UK to train and become certified teachers with Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. Additional classes include Commercial Dance, Musical Theatre and Lyrical Dance.

We have regular performance opportunities in regional and national venues. Our bi-anual showcase at The Venue, MK gives pupils the opportunity and experience of performing in a fully operational working theatre.

ELEV8 students have the option to take exams or maybe join our comp team if they are looking to take dance as a vocation. The mix of students we have who love dance as a hobby or wish to pursue it more seriously is the perfect blend and The ECP compete regularly at All England Dance and have recently taken home gold & silver medals from the finals at the Hackney Empire in London. With students selected to join Team England in the 2017,2019 & 2020 International Dance World Cup!
