Footlights Dance School

Footlights dance school was set up by dance teacher Michelle Handley, a Shrewsbury based mum of two and primary school teacher.

Classes are held at Mereside Community Centre and the United Reform Church in Shrewsbury, and at Merridale primary school in Wolverhampton.

Students can join Footlights from the age of three. Classes follow the IDTA and ISTD syllabuses with exams taking place twice a year. There is also a Footlights dance show, which takes place every two years at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury.
