Hazel Rayson Theatre Dance Studio

established in 1962 our diverse dance school has offered classes for all for 59 years. We offer a mixed class of Ballet/Tap/Theatre Craft to enable the pupil to have a wider range of dance knowledge and additionally Contemporary Modern Jazz with Freestyle and Acro dance. Our new Musical Theatre class is proving to be very popular. The studio group ‘Starz’ give pupils additional opportunities to learn and perform as well as raise money for charity through fundraising and performances for their events.
We have performed at Disneyland ,Paris and at Theatres in London and across the UK aswell as Butlins. Pupils have taken part in the IDTA Showcase and attended IDTA seminars and workshops. The studio also offers workshops from guest teachers at our own premises. The building houses 2 studios, a green room/cafe with Dance ‘n’ Stuff a new,used and upcycled dance shop. There is also a changing room and toilets aswell as our own costume department.
We have big plans to celebrate in 2022 with a show and after party reunion
