Horizons Academy aims to be a place where dancers not only learn to dance, but to also build confidence and self-belief, develop understanding and technique, and come away with a sense of achievement and a growing enthusiasm for dance and theatre. We are a friendly, inclusive school where every single child matters whether they attend once a week for fun or wish to go on to pursue a career in dance. We are extremely proud of the dance community that we are building together. . Review. An amazing teacher who is a wonderful role model for all little dancers. She is always happy, smiling and positive and encourages kindness. She seems to have the ability to hold the dancers attention and gives feedback in a very positive encouraging manner. My daughter has taken part in 3 shows and had her first ballet exam early this year and was excited about it and not at all nervous. All classes, shows and exams are extremely well organised, fun and calm this approach definitely has a positive effect on the dancers.
