Liz Nolan Theatre Dance School

Based in Lelant, St.Ives, students study the four core subjects of Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft together with Freestyle Jazz (contemporary, street, hip hop, funk etc) and our ever popular Adult Tap class. Dance exams are taken with the International Dance Teachers Association, starting at four years of age to professional and teaching examinations. Many former pupils have gone on to be professional dancers, teachers or other employment within the arts. Pupils are encouraged to enjoy dance in a ‘fun’ way in our happy, friendly school, developing a love of dance in its many forms and allowing dance to become an enriching, integral part of their lives. A high level of technical ability is developed using the IDTA syllabus and free class work in all dance genre. Students take part in an annual show, cabaret, fetes, fashion shows and photographic modelling for local and national companies. We have earned an excellent reputation in the dance world for our school.
