Spinners Dance Studio (inc Class Act Theatre School)

Lisa and Steve McLean started the school in 1988 and it has developed into the exciting, fun and safe environment that it is today. Spinners inc CATS is based at The Botley Centre, Botley, Southampton. We are a school with a reputation for teaching good technique, building confidence and having FUN!. IDTA exams are taken in all styles and 2 shows are performed yearly at The Point Theatre, (May & November). Children are accepted for Ballet at 3 years, Musical Theatre at 4 years, Tap at 5 years and Freestyle/Street Dance at 6 years. Adults are welcome and we hold private lessons for social dancing and those that want to take dance a little further, in all styles. Professional coaching is available, enabling those wanting to teach to achieve professional teaching qualifications, in Ballet, Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Street Dance, Salsa, RocknRoll, Line Dancing, Musical Theatre, Cheer Technique & Dance Exercise. The school regularly hold social events/parties, have guest lecturers and also run Summer School for children. Many past students have gone on to professional teaching, acting, dancing and media careers within the entertainment profession.
