Since 2003 Star-Struck Performing Arts Academy has taken pride in offering children the chance to learn skills, gain confidence and succeed in performing arts. Our dance styles include Acro, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Freestyle, Musical Theatre and Street and classes in Singing and Acting also feature on our exciting timetable. .  . . Located in the heart of Solihull, Star-Struck operates from ‘The Edge Studios’ at Alderbrook School. The light and airy dance studio boasts a sprung floor, sound system and full-length mirrors and our drama studio provides lights, stage blocks and props. Onsite free parking and nearby shops and amenities give our school further appeal. .  . . We hold a 100% pass rate for our IDTA exams and have received several nominations and placements for IDTA scholarships and awards, most recently competing at the Nationwide Freestyle Medallist of the Year Finals in Blackpool!. .  . . Our competitive dancers (solos and teams) are led by highly successful, IDTA teachers who have reached Premier-Championship level within the ADFP and been awarded several titles between them. They regularly take dancers to compete locally and further afield, receiving lots of trophies and medals!. .  . . Star-Struck regularly hold auditions for our professional performance team who can appear on many prestigious platforms including Her Majesty’s Theatre and Shaftsbury Theatre in London’s West End. .  . . Everyone is invited to perform at the annual Star-Struck Academy show. A much-anticipated calendar event, it’s always filled with excitement and lots of surprises as we celebrate the development of our students’ skills and the achievements they have made.
