Stocker Dance Academy

Stocker Dance Academy have been providing quality training since 2004. Developing and nurturing students to achieve their full potential, whether dancing as a hobby or to pursue a professional career in performing arts. We ensure that all our students gain the most out of their experience building confidence, making new friends and learning new skills to take into everyday life.
Some of our students have gone on to further their training at top Performing Arts Schools around the UK, e.g. Laine Theatre Arts, Urdang, Royal Ballet Associates. Some have then gone on to have successful careers in the performance industry.
Whatever the reason for dance we provide high quality professional training for all our students in a friendly, safe and encouraging environment.
All our teachers are fully qualified and experienced in both teaching and performing.
We provide training from 18 months to adult and have classes in ballet, tap, theatre craft, contemporary modern jazz, street dance, musical theatre, street cheer, acrobatic arts, among other styles. Examinations are not compulsory but we do offer the opportunity to enter IDTA examinations to help monitor progression and maintain high standards.
Students have the opportunity to take part in our annual performances in a local theatre setting and also have the opportunity to enter local competitions should they wish to.
We have 2 purpose built studios which we run our classes from with sprung floors and mirrors to help with safe training.
