The Vera Frances School of Dance

We are the longest running dance school in the March area having now been running for over 60 years!

.

The school was first opened in London by Vera Frances in 1947 after a 7-year career as a child actress in Films and Stage. In 1953, after marriage, the school moved to East Anglia and opened in the town of March where it has remained to this day.

.

Today the school is run by Vera Frances and daughter Lynda Ward-Cray. Both are Fully Registered teachers of:
. The Royal Academy of Dance, (RAD)
. The International Dance Teachers Association, (IDTA)
. The United Kingdom Alliance, (UKA)
. Both hold full enhanced disclosure CRB checks.

.

Continuing the family theme Lynda’s son, Iain Ward, now a professional Actor, remains part of the school both as a dancer, assistant teacher and stage technician for our shows.
