Dianne Jackson Theatre Dance was one of the first dance schools in Australia to offer training through the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA). The IDTA offers an up-to-date syllabus and IDTA qualifications are recognised worldwide. This friendly school is based in a local community hall in an impressive, modern and fully air conditioned room (upstairs). The school has full facilities and offers a safe, attractive and comfortable environment for learning dance. Within walking distance of the hall there is a local cafe, beach and esplanade for all to enjoy. A high standard of supportive tuition is provided and classes are available for children aged 18 months to adults of all abilities.

Dianne Jackson is originally for Yorkshire, England and enjoyed teaching at the Leydon-Smith School of Dance,in Pontefract, for over 20 years. Dianne and her family emigrated to Australia in 2012. Dianne is a friendly, highly motivated and dedicated dance teacher and Zumba Instructor with a great deal of experience in teaching ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre as well as Zumba and dance fitness. Dianne enjoys teaching children from 18 months to adults and has a vast amount of experience in choreography and performance work. Dianne has worked with all ages and ability levels and also has experience of working with children and adults who have special needs. Dianne has a positive and supportive approach to teaching and believes in having fun whilst learning.
