Michelle Robinson is one of New Zealand’s most professional, experienced and results-driven dance teachers.

Her busy Palmerston North Dance studio is consistently turning out some of our most promising young dancers for almost 25 years. Michelle’s methods when teaching both classical ballet and contemporary dance focus on giving all students a great sense of individual tuition within their normal class environment and learning levels.

The school offers professional teacher training in Classical Ballet and Modern Jazz to Fellowship level. The school also specialises in Classical Ballet to professional level.

Principal

Michelle Robinson proudly carries on this strong dance teaching legacy taught to her by Miss Gibbs and has built on admirably with futher training at home, Australia and overseas. She is one of New Zealand's most experienced teachers having taught, performed and choreographed both in New Zealand and Australia. Michelle was ballet mistress and choreographer for the North West Victorian Ballet Guild in Mildura,Australia. Work for the Ballet Guild in Mildura included full length productions of Swan Lake,Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, La fille mal Gardee, Gaite Parisienne. The Firebird. Dance dramas of Watership Down, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and The Hunting of the Snark. Upon returning to New Zealand Michelle was invited to become an examiner for the prestigious International Dance Teacher's Association of the United Kingdom.
