Based in Beaconsfield, Firebird School of Dance run competitive and non-competitive dance classes for children and adults. The styles being taught are Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Street and Freestyle. We have both Youth and Senior Jazz dance squads who compete at regional and national competitions as well as a competitive Freestyle squad.
Emily and Jess have been teaching for 19 years between them. They established Firebird School of Dance in 2016 to instill a passion for dance and performing in others. The students will have the opportunity to be entered for I.D.T.A. examinations and also appear in our annual showcase. Firebird School of Dance is a part of the Chiltern Cheetahs Sports Club which also offers cheerleading and gymnastic training.

- Emily EvansHead Dance Teacher
Emily has a background in freestyle, rock and roll, ballroom, latin, ballet, tap and modern dance. She has competed across the country and at National competitions in freestyle, rock and roll and ballroom making numerous National Finals and winning a National Title in freestyle dance.
Emily began teaching by assisting within her previous dance school and taking a Pre Associate Dance teaching qualification with the I.D.T.A. She progressed to study Sport and Coaching Science at university before taking on Little Kickers and coaching children through this. She also ran dance classes for children aged 2-5 years within nursery and children’s settings locally. Emily began instructing a dance fitness programme, Jazzercise, in 2012 but wanted to return to competitive dance. She started assisting with coaching at the Chiltern Cheetahs Cheerleading Club in September 2015 and established the Cheetettes Dance branch with Jess Goodall in January 2016. She is now running dance classes in various styles, as well as running Little Kickers, instructing Jazzercise and organising a family with three children!

Enhanced CRBJess GoodallHead Dance TeacherJess has been coaching for ten years at both clubs and schools, starting off as a gymnastics coach leading her to take her Cheerleading qualifications.
She has been coaching at Chiltern Gymnastics Club since 2007 and has recently founded Chiltern Cheetahs. Jess started coaching the school cheerleading squad ‘Stoke Starlets’ entering competitions placing 1st in the County and 3rd in the Southern Region. She also taught gymnastics and Cheerleading at Maltmans Green School in Gerrards Cross and is now teaching at Chalfont Community College. She has set up the gymnastics at Stokenchurch Primary School who had all three teams qualify for the National Finals this year. Jess runs tumble classes at Rush Trampoline Park in High Wycombe and is a Jazzercise Instructor.
Jess has also had plenty of dance/choreography experience training at Jackie Palmer Stage School in High Wycombe for ten years leading to a degree in Dance at Surrey University. Jess is currently a Primary School Teacher at Stokenchurch Primary School. Jess has now founded the Chiltern Cheetettes Dance School along with Emily Evans.
Jess started Cheerleading in 2008 where she competed with
the Surrey Angels who were National Champions at Level 2 (FC Nationals 2010 and 2011). She was Captain for Unity Allstars Indigo in 2012 winning every competition being National and Grand Champions 2013. Jess competed on Unity Allstars Ruby Level 5 for two years in which they achieved National and Grand Champions at Nationals, won two bids to the World Championships and competed at the World Championships in Florida in 2015. Jess currently competes with Unity Allstars Indigo Restricted Level 5 and Level 4.
