The studio is set in its own grounds on the edge of a small town. It has its own private car park for around 40 cars and it is fully licenced. The studio’s double as a convention centre for special occasion and wedding parties ect. The studio offers a full range of dance styles you would associate with a commercial studio. High grade instruction is also taught in both ballroom and Latin and its pupils have won many championships right up to British and World championships. The studio also specialises in formation dancing and has won an unprecedented amount of British Open and National Championships. The studio has also been awarded the Teachers Carl Alan award in 2010. The studio has for the last few years been one of the IDTA most prolific medal test takers, the company is a family based organisation with 3 generation of family teachers. The studio has an excellent teaching staff of 8 qualified teachers which should ensure the continued success of the studio for many years well into the future.

Philip started dancing at a Cardiff dancing school. This was in the pre rock n roll days when teenagers frequented dance halls as a normal way of life. After enjoying medal work he joined the Sybil Marks Junior Formation Team which danced on the Victor Sylvester Monday night TV program. After competing with various partners he met his permanent partner and wife, Carol. A successful amateur partnership developed winning many championships and numerous Come Dancing performances. On turning professional, applications for premises to convert to a dance studio were frustratingly denied and the early years were spent in a church hall but were still very successful. Finally they purchased adjacent cottages in over an acre of land and built a studio. Philip has long been an examiner with IDTA, he is currently President of the Welsh Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dance and for years has served as a director on the BDC and chairman of the Everyone Is Born To Dance committee.
Carol PerryOwnerCarol started dancing at the age of 4, continuing with this until she was 13 before joining a local class teaching ballroom and Latin. At a presentation night she was introduced to Philip and they formed a very successful partnership being undefeated Welsh Amateur Latin Champions. During this time they made their partnership a permanent one by getting married. On turning professional they continued their success being finalists at the British National Championships and winning the South of England Professional Championship, also being semi-finalist at the International Championships and the United Kingdom Championships. Carol took her associate exam with the IDTA in ballroom, Latin and Sequence and has gone on to take her Licentiate in both ballroom and Latin. Carol has been very successful in training many British Championship Winning formation teams, Juvenile Junior and Adult Grades, also the world WDC Adult Latin formation champions.
Sean PerryFunction Suite Manager & CoachSean is an associate member and currently taking his licentiate modules and is a very successful ballroom coach. He also runs the studios convention and occasion side to the company. He is also the coach for Cardiff University Dance Club.
Kay PerryCoachKay is an associate member and is currently taking her licentiate modules and specialises in coaching Latin Competitors including her children who have both already won many British and World Titles. She has also trained many Juvenile and Junior Latin formation teams and has won many British Titles.
Kristie BoothTeacher & CoachKristie is the studio’s secretary and associate member currently studying for her licentiate in ballroom and Latin. She coaches the studios Juvenile Formation Team and has won an enviable record of 5 British championships in the last 5 years.
Ceri HopkinsTeacher & CoachCeri is the studio’s fitness instructor and associate member in Latin and Ballroom. Ceri helps train with our Juvenile training teams and is one of our class instructors for both children and adults.
Kirstie SymonTeacherKirstie is an associate member in Latin, Kirstie assists in both children and adult classes and also helps train our formation teams.
Amy BoothTeacher & CoachAmy is an associate member in latin and ballroom, Amy assists in both adult and childrens classes and helps train our junior and adult formation teams.
Laura CarpenterTeacherLaura is an associate member in Latin, Laura assists in children classes and also helps train our formation teams.
Sophie MarlowTeacherSophie is an associate member in Latin, Sophie assists in children classes and also helps train our formation teams.
