Youlie is a dancer, coach, author and IDTA Fellow and Examiner.
As a teacher, Youlie has coached professionals and amateurs for exams and competitions, including four students who won IDTA Annual awards. Her competitive couples in Kazakhstan, Greece and UK have been Finalists and Grand Finalists in local, national and international ballroom dance competitions and championships.
As an author, her books have been described as helping every dancer, teacher and coach aiming to master their craft. Three have been published with more being written.
As a dancer, she successfully represented Kazakhstan and Greece in many Festivals and European and World Dance Championships from 1988 to 2007 (being National Champion in both), and for six years being in the top 20 of the professional Ten Dance World Championships. She currently competes as the Professional in ProAm competitions, winning many first prizes with her students.
As a person, she has strong loyalty to helping each person to succeed in whatever they want to be and do - whether social, competitive, teaching or fellow professional. She will consider every aspect of dance, including clothes, hair style and footwear, as well as basic physical shaping and fitness. But most of all, how you move. She wants her students to succeed!
