DanceTech Ballroom Academy offers a wide range of classes to people of all ages and abilities in the Cheshire area.
We have classes for the absolute beginner, who has never danced before, classes for those who wish to dance socially and also classes for dancers who wish to take their training further and would like to take exams.
All our classes are taught in a social, friendly, stress free environment with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment.
As well as our group classes we also offer private lessons on a one to one basis tailored to your individual needs, maybe you want to learn just a specific dance or maybe you are getting married and want your first dance choreographed specially to surprise your guests.
For those students who would like to participate we hold IDTA exam sessions throughout the year in Ballroom, Latin American, Freestyle, and Modern & Classical Sequence.
Maybe you want to take up a new hobby, dance socially and meet new friends or perhaps you want to improve your technique. Whatever you’re past experience we have a dance class just for you.

Peter has been dancing for over 40 years and holds professional qualifications with the IDTA in Latin American, Ballroom, Classical Sequence, Freestyle, Street Dance & Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Peter has been nominated three times for the IDTA’s prestigious WJ Tasker Award and was the winner for Old Time / Classical Sequence Dancing. He has also won the IDTA’s high ranking John Dilworth Award which recognises professionals who radiate a special potential & ability and also the Arthur J Gallagher Award.
Peter particularly enjoys teaching complete beginners and the satisfaction it brings watching them take their first steps around the dance floor.
As a Fellow of the IDTA Peter also trains professionals for the IDTA’s rigorous teaching exams and is available for professional coaching.Luella RevillHead TeacherLuella started dancing at the age of eight and worked her way up the IDTA examination system to reach Presidents Award in Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Street and Rock & Roll. In addition to taking exams she has had many successes on the competition floor reaching many finals in Blackpool and recently winning a prestigious Latin competition held in the North West.
Luella is a qualified professional with the IDTA and teaches Freestyle, Street, Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Rock ’n’ Roll training pupils for competitions, shows and exams, she is also continuing her professional training taking further exams to further her knowledge.
