Based in Cheshire East, SMB Dance offers a wide range of classes for 2 years to adults. Our friendly environment welcomes dancers from beginners to advanced levels to take part in classes taught by our fully qualified IDTA dance teachers. Our students have a range of opportunity to gain performance experience in shows, competitions, festivals, to take IDTA Examinations, and to achieve their goal of becoming a dance teacher.

- Stacey BoydDance Principal
Stacey is the principal of SMB Dance International. She has been dancing and performing since the age of 4. After leaving school she trained and completed a three year professional dance and teachers of dance course at Preston Dance College, UK. Stacey has been a dance teacher for a number of successful dance schools in the UK and New Zealand having her Associate IDTA Modern Jazz and Freestyle qualification. She has performed and choreographed numerous professional dance shows. She has completed advanced grades in ISTD Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz and National Dance. Also RAD Ballet and IDTA Freestlyle, Cheerleading and Street Dance. Stacey has a very successful dance school in New Zealand and is now growing SMB Dance internationally. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys watching her students progress within the dance schools. Her end of year shows are always a huge success, and she strives to get the best results from each and every student making classes fun, friendly and exciting.
Amy GreenhalghBallet/tap/Contemporary TeacherAmy is an IDTA Ballet Associate who over the last four years has began to establish herself as a dance teacher working in dancing schools teaching students from 3 years to adults. Amy teaches the IDTA syllabus along with choreographing dance pieces for various show cases.
Amy continues her teaching studies with the IDTA currently working towards her Licentiate Ballet and Associate Modern Jazz.
Amy also teaches voluntarily in primary schools, high schools and with community groups within the North West.
Amy is currently studying BA (HONS) Dance with Aerial Performance at Edge Hill University and is due to graduate in 2015. When joining the university in September 2012, she was awarded an entrance performing arts scholarship to celebrate her devotion to her area of excellence.
Amy strives to share her passion with the next generation of dancers.
Toni-Leigh GilchristStreet Dance InstructorToni-Leigh has been dancing for 13 years and teaching for 7 of them. She has worked all over the country with students from 5 Years to Adults, providing dance workshops and projects.
She has taught in many differnt venues including high schools, established dance schools, youth and leisure centres. Toni-Leigh has put together many successful showcases and performances.
She studied performing arts dance at Siena Simon college, Manchester. She has performed at Manchester's Academy, Apollo, The Dance House Theatre, and many other Manchester venues.
Being experienced in Street/Commercial Dance Toni-Leigh has a strong passion for dance and enjoys teaching and watching her students grow and progress, aswell as gaining confidence and performance skills.
