We have many different styles available to all ages at reasonable prices! From Bouncing Baby and Ballet classes, to Breakdance, Streetdance, Freestyle and Musical Theatre.
Cornwall Dance students are regularly getting involved in local dance events, fundraising and festivals, it’s great for the dance students to get out there and get experience performing for a crowd!
We Pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere at our school, whether that be within classes and at our own events and performances or at local or national events we are attending all of our students are encouraged to support and help each other to be the best that they can be!
Cornwall Dance School mount two shows a year, at Princess Pavilions and the Hall for Cornwall, running like a company each show gives every individual in the school to shine! We also support local Performing Arts students via the PEAF charity, created by teachers and parents at the school, for students and parents of the performing arts, to give them equal opportunities both locally and nationally and to support them when traveling to competitions or performances around the UK.
We attend local and national Competitions and Performances with students, these include UDO and IDTA affiliated events, performances and comps.

Lisa Ann is Dance Principal and Teacher for our Truro, Falmouth and Porthleven Dance classes, teaching ‘Hip-Hop’, ‘Street’, 'Contemporary', 'Freestyle', 'Salsa', 'Flamenco', 'Cheerleading', 'Rock and Roll', 'Line Dancing' and 'Commercial' and 'Stage' dance.
Lisa started dancing with the BBO (British Ballet Organisation) from the age of 2 years old studying Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary achieving honours and highly recommended in exams. She gained a scholarship with BBO London when she was 12years old and spent several years training with top teachers in London and performing around the country.She has trained in IDTA Freestyle Dance Teaching and as an Associate of Ballet with the IDTA and RAD. She has introduced IDTA Teaching Qualifications to Cornwall Dance School students.
Lisa has taught in local schools such as Doubletree's, working with young people with learning disabilities, local youth clubs, and regularly teaches for Carrick Dance at Richard Lander School.
Lisa has choreographed for NAOS Productions, Mawgan Porth Cabaret, danced in the musical shows such as ‘Gypsy’, and has performed with Wayne Sleep at the HFC, also working with the Hiss and Boo Company. She danced for a Cabaret Act for 7 years since the age of 18, attending events and hosting hen parties across Cornwall regularly.
Lisa was on Britain's Next Top Model (Series 5), and has worked as a model since the age of 16, in promotion and shooting for covers and spreads in Magazines regularly.Adele GreenStreet Crews TeacherAdele began contemporary at a young age and after completing her Dance GCSE, she gained a place with the hiphop group FLAVA and spent a couple of years touring the nation performing with them, attending the Dance Awards of Excellence Los Angeles 2008 and gaining first place in UDO Solo Competitions.
She then went on to the University of East London where she studied for a BA Hons Degree in Dance - Urban Practise. Adele then stayed in London to work professionally within the industry, performing in music video's for the likes of Ndubz, assist teaching for Blue Boy Entertainments (Streetdance Crew who tour the UK performing) and performing at Club dance events around London including Ministry of Sound and Amica.
Adele has achieved fantastic results with our Streetdance Crews, gaining a 2nd place and entry to the World finals at UDO, 2015.
Adele's passion lies in teaching Contemporary and Streetdance, but she can also teach commercial and classical indian dance styles.Credits include: FLAVA, NDubz Daku Man Skit + backing dancer, Top 10 Finalist in 2010 World Supermodel Pageant, Regular Dance Spots at Ministry of Sound Club London, Merah London, Mayfair, Sound Leicester Square, Amika London, Movida London.
Georgia CotterillContemporary, Lyrical & Freestyle TeacherGeorgia is currently studying a Level 3 National Diploma in Dance at Truro College. Over the years Georgia has trained in many styles of dance, beginning with ballet at the age of 2 and broadening to freestyle, rock 'n' roll, street, jazz, commercial, pointe, contemporary, tap and lyrical.
As well as regular performances at the Hall for Cornwall and other venues in Cornwall, Georgia has worked professionally with: Hiss and Boo Company, performing in 'Robinson Crusoe and the Cornish Pirates' in the annual Christmas pantomime at the Hall for Cornwall; The Salon:Collective in their summer performance of Twelfth Night, and as part of a dance film project 'Natura' with the school, which was entered into short film festivals across the UK. Amongst performing, she has competed in competitions and taken exams in musical theatre and dance, consistently achieving honours and highly commended.
Georgia is currently training as a Freestyle Teaching Associate with the IDTA, through Cornwall Dance School. She is looking forward to teaching at our school in September, passing her experience onto others, as well as applying for University.
Charlie WilkesCommercial & Lyrical TeacherFrom the age of 6, Charlie was a baton twirler, where she competed and achieved 3rd place in the National Championships, and attained 1st place overall for the South West Championships for five years in a row. This is where Charlie learnt her ‘performance skills’.
Charlie started dance at the age of 13 at Jason Thomas Performing Arts in Truro. Here she trained in Street Dance, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.
Charlie then went on to attend the Youth Dance Academy – Swindon Dance CAT, on the Contemporary Programme, where she trained for two years. Also, working with Merville Jones (founder of Phoenix Dance Company), Tim Noble (Kylie Minogue’s Choreographer), B-Boy Banxy & Nuno Campos. Here she explored a range of dance styles and has become a more versatile dancer.As well as performing, Charlie has also taught in several local schools around the Cornish County. Including teaching an Area Resource Based class for children with Special Educational Needs.
She has achieved - FdA with Distinction in Dance along with her National Diploma in Dance - achieving top marks of D*D*D.
