Our aim at the Coppola School of Performing Arts is to give every child the opportunity to hear applause. For each child to know that the applause they hear is especially for them and the achievements they have made.
Each student can work to their personal best and will be encouraged to progress whether as a hobby or with more dedicated training.Ballet – Focusing on flexibility, strength and creativity. Students will have performance opportunities and will work towards IDTA Ballet Examinations. Classes from 3 years.
Tap – Focusing on rhythm and musicality. Students will have performance opportunities and will work towards IDTA Tap Examinations. Classes from 4 years.
Jazz – Fun based sessions, incorporation many styles of commercial dance. Students will have performance opportunities. Classes from 4 years.
Singing – Children can start from 5 years and will have the opportunity to take graded examinations.
Musical Theatre – Fun based sessions including dance, drama and singing with a focus on building confidence and teamwork. Students will work towards productions and IDTA examinations. Class start from 4 years.

- Kelly-Jane BrownPrincipal - Ballet Tap, Jazz & Musical Theatre
Kelly's dance training started at the age of 3, studying Ballet, Tap and Modern at her mothers dance school, The Coppola School of Dancing. She went on to gain a Performing Atrs Diploma with Distinction at The Hub Theatre School in Cornwall. After working professionally in the Entertainment Industry for 15 years she decided to move into teaching. Kelly holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS), Level 5 DTLLS in Dance Teaching and Level 4 Teaching Diploma in Classical Ballet.
Joanne RobertsTeacher - Musical TheatreAt 3 year old, Joanne started her training at the Coppola School of Dancing. She went on to gain a Diploma in Dance at the London Studio Centre before working in the entertainment industry for many years performing in Pantomime and tourning productions. She has recently gained a First Class Honours Degree in Education from Worcester University.
Martin EntwistleTeacher - SingingMartin is a well established music teacher in the education sector having taught in schools for over 30 years. He is also an accomplished musician, performer and Musical Director.
