The Unlimited Dance Company was set up 8 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. We have 3 fully fitted dance studios under one roof with disability access, 2 reception areas, 2 changing rooms, 2 washrooms and kitchen. UDC have a carpark directly behind the studios, there is also parking on Rolle Quay or an hours parking on the street.
We are a dance school that can offer classes to children who come from all walks of life and who have different needs and abilities from the age of 18 months. We pride ourselves in being versatile and allowing children to find a dance school where they can develop and grow.
All our teachers are very experienced having trained and performed professionally, all are CRB checked. There is over 30 years professional experience between them.
At UDC we teach ballet, tap, street, commercial, contemporary, lyrical and lyrical hip hop. We have 4 competing teams The Solution, Prescription, Unbound and Abundance. At present The Solution and Prescription compete at World Championship level, The Solution placing 2nd at Worlds August 2014. UDC offers the Diversity Crew for children with disabilities and learning difficulties allowing them to experience the fun and exciting world of the Performing Arts.
Along side our in house IDTA L4 diploma teacher training course we are very proud to announce that our online IDTA L4 Ballet diploma is being launched September 2017 giving students the opportunity to study long distance. The training for this is done at Wilkes Academy Swindon, Wiltshire, or in Barnstaple, North Devon.
Students get the same support as our in house students and have the opportunity to study whilst either working other jobs or looking after a family.
At UDC we offer examinations from 3 years upwards – these are not compulsory, plus performances at the Queens Theatre, Barnstaple and Northcott Theatre , Exeter annually, also open days and Summer schools. We take our students on residentials as near as Penzance and as far away as Los Angeles, California.
Unlimited Dance are the only dance school to be selected to represent the South West in Los Angeles at Dance Excellence. We were priviledged to do this in 2014 and are taking on this role again in 2016.
Not only are we a dance school but we offer children the opportunity to grow in confidence , develop self esteem and make life long friendships. We hope that you will enjoy your time with us at the Unlimited Dance Company.

Based in Barnstaple, Matilda Mouse Ballet has been specifically developed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, with an understanding of their physical development as well as setting out foundation skills in ballet and music to benefit them throughout childhood.
The friendly activities and magical music that our lessons use provides your child with the best environment for building friendships and coordination skills, with a real focus on fun!

- Sarah ClementsPrincipal
Sarah trained in North London at Harrisons College for 3 years where she gained Associates in ISTD ballet, modern, tap and national. Along side this she also trained at the well known Pineapple dance studios in Covent Garden dancing along side Bonnie Langford, Claud Paul Henry and Nigel Lythgoe, danced in promotional dvd’s for Pineapple Dance and went on to audition for West End productions.
Sarah also has an IDTA Associate in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Freestyle.
Sarah went on to obtain her Diploma and Cde in Modern, CYQ Level 2 and UKCA in Cheerleading.Sarah has appeared in the well known shows Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone, My Fair Lady and Brigadoon. Choreographing West Side Story, 42nd Street, Grease and God Spell for semi professional companies in London.
Ellie FreemanTeacherEllie has been teaching with Unlimited Dance for 2 years having been a student with our dance company from the age of 6. Ellie has a wide knowledge of ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap and street dance. She is our in house First Aider.
Ellie is a senior teacher at UDC, where she teaches with most of the Hip Hop, Lyrical / Contemporary and Ballet classes. Ellie teaches on UDC Sumer schools / workshops and is in charge of all the music re-arrangements that UDC use.
She is the senior coach for Prescription team and also compets with them. Her street dance team compete at World Championship level.
Ellie choreographs for Street solo and duo teams who compete at UDO competitions around the country. She represented England at Dance Excellence in 2014 and will be taking that role on again for 2016.
Lee DunnTeacherLee has been dancing for many years and is self taught in body popping and waving.
Lee is the senior coach for The Solution team who placed 2nd in the UDO World Championships 2014 and are off to Germany May 2015 to represent North Devon at the European Championships. Lees senior team Unbound have placed at the 2015 UDO World Championship in Glasgow.
Lee has participated in competitions throughout the country. He has been placed in quarter and semi finals at UDO competitions and placed 5th in the champions fo champions. Lee placed 4th at the World Championships in Glasgow August 2014.
Lee represented England at the Dance Excellence festival 2014 in Los Angeles and will be taking that role on again for 2016.
Ellie GouldingTeacherEllie is a primary school teacher and is sought after for her dance experience within local schools. Ellie teaches every Saturday at UDC and also competes with the Prescription team at World Championship level.

Elsa ThorneTeacherElsa teaches the tiny tot ballet class on a Saturday and is one of our teachers at The Diversity Crew plus assists on our Summer schools.
