At Totnes School of Dance we have dancers who dance with us for many different reasons – not all dream of becoming professional dancers in later life and many simply enjoy the fun of dancing with their friends! We ensure that all children and young dancers are valued for what they achieve from dancing with us and do not tolerate any practice or behaviour which might threaten the enjoyment of any individual in any way.
We offer a full range of classes for dancers from age 18 months to young adults with levels from beginner to advanced. We also offer teacher training to DDE levels as Totnes School of Dance is the only ISTD Approved Dance Centre offering 5 dance genres in the South West.
In 2003 we moved into our current purpose built facilities which include two large sprung-floor studios. Since then the Totnes School of Dance continues to thrive and grow with its emphasis on quality of provision and experience for all who engage with us.
Our hand picked teaching team are all qualified through the RAD and/or ISTD to BAHons, Diploma, Associate, Licentiate, Fellow or International Examiner level. We also train up our own new teachers to ensure that they are fully supported and can work to our exacting standards.
