The West London Dance academy offers dynamic and enjoyable classes in Ballet and Tap dance to children of all ages. Based in Chiswick and Ealing, we follow the IDTA syllabus which provides a thorough and developmental curriculum.
Our main objective is to inspire good technique and progression within a lively and fun setting. We have celebrated exam results with a 100% pass rate, which we believe comes from our ability to encourage pupils and realise their potential within a nurturing environment.

- Judith TownsendDirector
Judith commenced her early dance training in Oxfordshire under the guidance of Susan Thompson FIDTA & Examiner. She qualified as an Associate Teacher in 1991 and graduated with a BA (Hons) Dance Theatre from the Laban Centre in 1994.
Judith has extensive experience as a dance teacher and performer and furthered her qualifications by becoming a Licentiate Teacher of the IDTA in 2010. She founded the West London Dance Academy in 2006 and teaches classes in the Chiswick branch.
Natalie ParnellBallet & Tap TeacherNatalie trained with the Squires School of Dance and Performing Arts where she gained her teaching qualifications with the ISTD and IDTA. Natalie then went on to perform with various dance companies and performers, including Wayne Sleep and Roy Castle.
Natalie ran her own school in Kent for 15 years and maintains a teaching role with the Hungarian Ballet Company. In addition to teaching, Natalie is a successful choreographer and adjudicator.
Natalie is a Fellow of the IDTA. Natalie joined the West London Dance Academy in 2011 and teaches classes in the Chiswick and Ealing branches.
Natalie AnagnostopoulosBallet & Tap TeacherNatalie trained at the London Studio Centre studying a 3 year diploma in performing Arts. Natalie then went on to perform as a professional dancer and teacher in the UK and overseas.
Natalie has been teaching the IDTA syllabus fo 15 years and is pruod of her 100% exam success rate. In addtion, she choreographs and directs shows for a number of operatic companies.
Natalie is a Fellow of the IDTA. Natalie joined the West London Dance Academy in 2014 and teaches classes in the Chiswick branch.
