Energy School of Dancing and Gymnastics has been running classes throughout Hemel Hempstead since 2009. We have a wide variety of classes including Street, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Rock N Roll, Disco Freestyle, Zumba, Rhythmical Gymnastics, Commercial and Contemporary.
We offer training for IDTA examinations, ADFP competitions plus shows and performances. Classes start from 3 years up to Adult.
Our dance schools focus on performance and enjoyment, as well as high quality dance training.
Since the founding of Energy School of Dancing and Gymnastics adults and children in Hemel Hempstead have benefited from a large range of dance styles from beginner to professional level.
We boast a team of highly qualified teachers each with performing experience in their individual specalist fields

- Tiffany KnightCreative Director
Tiffany began dancing Disco freestyle at the age of 7 and quickly fell in love. She then began ballroom and Latin dance which she gained International awards in both. Tiffany also took training in Street dance, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Rock n Roll. In 2006 Tiffany took her teachers exam in Freestyle/ Street and Rock N Roll and gained 95% honours grade with international dance teachers association (IDTA). Tiffany is also a member of the (ADFP) Association of freestyle dance professionals which allows members of the Freestyle comp squad to compete at dance competitions over the south of England. In 2011 Tiffany took her Zumba training course allowing her to teach Zumba at Energy. Tiffany began teaching at Hemel Theatretrain in 2006 and choreographed pieces for shows in The London Palladium and The Theatre Royal before becoming the centre director of Aylesbury Theatretrain who performed at the O2 in July2013 and Disneyland Paris May 2014.
Tuesday MashCreative DirectorTuesday has been dancing since the age of 3 in styles such as disco freestyle, latin and ballroom. Since then Tuesday has trained in various styles including Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet, Street, Rock n Roll and Musical Theatre. In 2006 Tuesday passed her IDTA teachers exam and shortly aftergained NVQ level 3 in Musical Theatre at Amersham and Wycombe college. Tuesday is a meber of the SDI (street dance international) and teachers different types of dance at Energy School of Dancing and Aylesbury Theatretrain. She has chreographed pieces for shows at The 02 Arena, The london Palladium, Sadlers wells, Theatre Royal, Adelpi Theatre plus many more
Nick GreenStreet and Hip Hop TeacherI started my professional dance career 6 years ago, when I auditioned for the dance group FLAVA who are well known for getting to the semi finals of Britain's got talent. They were looking for a new male dancer to come in straight away, learn the routines as quick as possible and start performing with them. I was also involved in another dance school teaching my own area, having social classes and team classes every week. FLAVA were also booked at least once a week to deliver workshops in other dance studios, where we taught styles from break dancing to lyrical.
The training I have received from top dancers all over the world has helped me become the dancer I am today. From doing classes in L.A to Philippines and back here in London and Cornwall. I have danced with the best choreographers, this has also helped me with my very different and unique style of choreography.nto the group and getting on with everybody well.CarlaTeacherCarla's love for dancing started very early at the age of 3 when she studied Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Jazz at the Julia Highton School of Dance in Dunstable. She also competed in Freestyle Disco and Latin and Ballroom competitions until the age of 14.
She gained her ISTD teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern and National Dance at The Dance College, Royston.
She began National dance whilst at The Dance College and enjoyed learning the traditional dances from many countries, including Spain, Russia, Greece and Austria.
Carla is currently teaching Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary in a number of schools in Bedfordshire, instructing both children and adults.KatherineTeacherKatherine trained at her local dancing school in Oxfordshire before going on to train professionally at the Urdang Academy of Performing Arts.
After graduating and various professional jobs she went to America to teach dance on a summer camp which is where she attributes her love of teaching today. Upon returning to the UK she obtained her I.S.T.D teaching certificates and now has 20 years experience teaching Ballet to all ages at various dancing schools and colleges across London and Hertfordshire. -
