Feet Beats was established in September 2004, with High expectations… now 10 years later Feet Beats has become a well known dance academy. This year Feet Beats is proud to open its very own premises and we are now offering a huge variety of Dance & Fitness classes for Children and Adults.
The Feet Beats students have performed at some of the most prestigious venues in this country, The Saddlers Wells Theatre and The Royal Albert Hall. The students have also worked with the BBC, KMFM, Kent based organisations and lots of charitable work.
Feat Beats students are offered the opportunity to take exams when they are ready to do so. It is not compulsory and the Academy regularly achieves 100% pass rates.
The Academy host annual dance shows and each year has a different theme – this event is great fun and gives the students the chance to showcase their hard work and practice to their family and friends. It’s also an opportunity for parents to see their childs’ progress.

- Amy MeadPrincipal, Teacher & Choreographer
I started dancing at a young age and never wanted to do anything but dance. After I left school I went to college to study dance and gained a BTEC National Diploma in Dance. I then went on to train with the IDTA where I qualidied as a teacher of Freestyle. I have also trained with the BCA and am a qualified Cheerleading coach. I have an enhanced CRB and First Aid training. This isn't just a job - it's a passion and lifestyle for me. I'm at my happiest when the students are on stage performing! I love what I do and continue to strive to be the best I can, encouraging the children along the way!
