The Judith Essex School of Dancing has been teaching dance for some 25 years in the west Kent & east Surrey area. Latterly supported by a larger team of qualified teachers.
During the period the school has built a reputation for the teaching of traditional dance skills, but with fun and enjoyment. The core subjects are ballet, tap and modern dance which are available for most children with convenient combination classes.
We have Dance with Mummy classes, but otherwise the children start at 3 years of age with first ballet steps, then a year or two later other forms of dance are added. Dancing is so important for the development of good co-ordination and confidence.
