The Paula Boscott School of Dance is a family run dance school offering dance lessons in Garstang and the surrounding area. Established in late 2005, it is run by husband and wife team David & Paula and offers classes in Ballroom, Latin American, Freestyle, Rock n Roll, Latin Fitness and much more. All children’s classes are taught and choreographed by Principal Paula Boscott who is an IDTA qualified teacher, fitness Instructor and Zumba Instructor. We offer classes for all ages and abilities, and encourage our junior pupils to take part in regular IDTA examination sessions, local displays within the community and shows. For our adults, we have regular social nights, dances, dinner dances, weekly tea dances, and trips to Blackpool Tower Ballroom. We also offer private lessons, and first wedding dance lessons. With over 75 years dance experience between us we offer expert IDTA tuition taught in a friendly and relaxed manner with the emphasis being on fun, friendship and fitness. I am an IDTA qualified Ballroom teacher, fitness Instructor and Zumba Instructor. I started dancing at 4 years of age at The Brian & Barbara Boscott School of dance, whereby I completed all my medal examinations, and entered competitions reaching the Nationwide finals. It was in these years that I met my now husband David Boscott and we continued our love of dancing by starting our own school in 2005. I teach and choreograph all my own routines and take an immense pride in my work. I am also DBS checked.
In 2012 I was chosen to appear in the BBC production of Len Goodman's Dancing Feet - a once in a lifetime opportunity and career highlight.Rachel BoscottVoluntary AssistantRachel is currently studying towards a degree in Medicine, however in her spare time she helps out in some of the junior classes, working with individuals and small groups. She has danced all of her life, and is a member of the freestyle team, and is dancing her way through the IDTA medal awards. She has reached the Nationwide freestyle final and rock n roll finals competition having gained second place in the North West Area heats
