CJ Dance has been offering ballroom and Latin American dance classes in West Norfolk for many years. The proprietor, Carole Jones has been teaching in both mainstream education and offering dance classes since qualifying with the IDTA in the late 60s.

Carole along with her other dancer teachers and trainees are continually striving to create an atmosphere that is a fun, light-hearted and an encouraging learning environment where people can relax and enjoy learning a new skill. The teaching in all classes aims to be clear and concise with each phase of the learning building on previous learning

Carole Jones

Principle Teacher

Carole Jones has been teaching in West Norfolk for many years and qualified in Ballroom (Assoc), Latin American (Licen) and Classical Modern Sequence (Assoc). Gained Bsc in Computing and taught in mainstream education to HE level.

Classes that Carole offers range from beginner to professional level via social or private lessons. In all her lessons, Carole passes on her knowledge and love of dancing in fun, relaxed manner. This enables students of any level to enjoy their time in class, meet new friends and have fun learning a new skill.

Terry Pither

Teacher

Terry started attending Carole’s lessons over 20 years ago, firstly as a beginner with his wife, Lynda, then as an experienced dancer, who had success with medals. Terry has gone on to achieve his Associate Ballroom Teachers qualification. He partners and encourages beginners to learn the steps being taught. Terry has a passion for all dance styles and thoroughly enjoys choreographing Wedding Celebration Dances and offers private Ballroom tuition.

Ken Ward

Teacher

Ken started attending Carole's dancing classes in 2011, firstly as a beginner and then, after success with medal tests, went on to gain his Associate Ballroom Teachers qualification. He has thoroughly enjoyed working with beginners to dance while he was training for his teachers qualification.

Ken quickly developed a passion for dancing in 2011 and now wants to share that passion with all the students at the school.
