Confidance is a performing arts school for talented children and young adults. All of our teachers are fully qualified and have worked in the entertainment arena as professionals in dance, choreography, musical theatre, Acro, Gymnastics, film and TV.

Whether recreational or professional you will benefit from the experience and enthusiasm of the Confidance staff.

Confidance instructs and inspires individuals to excel in dance, singing and acting. Our focus is on building confidence and technique, while encouraging a positive and comfortable atmosphere in class time and giving ample opportunity to gain experience in shows and events with high production values.

Donna Millar-Munro I.D.T.A

Principal

Ex professional dancer trained at Edinburgh Theatre School of dance and drama. IDTA teacher in theatre craft, tap, ballet and modern and is on Scottish Committee for IDTA. I am also in charge of our competitive side of the school.

Jennifer Peddie R.A.D

Ballet

R.A.D qualified teaches all our ballet including the competition solos, duets and troupes.

Holly Steel B.A.T.D

Lyrical,Modern, technique,tap & acro

Holly holds a B.A.T.D qualification and currently teaches tap, lyrical, modern, technique and acro for us. Holly also holds Gold for Scotland in 2019 for senior acro section at the dance world cup in Portugal.

Emma Ruddy

Street dance

Emma is our street dance teacher, she is part of the Ace Tribe Dance Troupe who world and British titles for street dance.
