- Will LonsdalePrincipal
Will has danced in Sheffield from a very young age, gaining a strong knowledge in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical and Acrobatics. This training has enabled him to gain nominations for the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards several times. Will successfully auditioned for MADD College (Midland's Academy of Dance and Drama) in Nottingham, and received a scholarship to further his professional training in dance and musical theatre.
Will also became one of the top 6 performers in the country and reached the final round as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Miss Dance of Great Britain and Dance Master UK.’ In 2018, Will had the opportunity to demonstrate the new IDTA Advanced One Tap syllabus at the IDTA London Congress, on behalf of the Tap faculty, showcasing the work to the associations’ senior examiners.
Will then worked professionally in the dance industry for artists such as The Vengaboys, Steps, Kim Petras and more recently, Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Becoming a dance teacher was always Will's dream, and in 2017, he qualified as a teacher of dance with the IDTA (International Dance Teachers' Association).
