The Lonsdale Academy of Theatre Dance, established in 2020, is a Sheffield based dance school that prides itself on offering world class training in dance. We specialise in classes for children who wish to learn something new or build on their existing dance skills.
Students can start with us from 5 years old, we have programmes suited to all ages and levels of ability. LATD works towards building technique and showcase performances.

Will began dancing in Sheffield from a very young age, gaining a strong knowledge in Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Hip-Hop, Commercial, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. Throughout his training, he gained multiple nominations in the core theatre subjects for the reputable 'IDTA Theatre Dance Awards'.
Will successfully auditioned for MADD College (Midland's Academy of dance and Drama) in Nottingham, where he was awarded a scholarship to further his training in professional dance.
After this, Will carried on his dance training by successfully qualifying as a teacher of dancing under the IDTA (International Dance Teachers’ Association)In 2017, Will became one of the top 6 male performers in the country and reached the final round as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Miss Dance of Great Britain and Dance Master UK.’ Will has also had the opportunity to demonstrate the new IDTA Advanced One Tap syllabus at the IDTA London Congress, on behalf of the Tap faculty, showcasing the work to the association’s senior examiners.
Will has worked professionally for multiple shows such as: Ariana Grande Tribute Acts (Nicola T Productions), Dali's Guest (Hype Dance Professional), Disco Inferno, Broadway Baby (Dearne Playhouse) and many more and is still working professionally to this day!
