B M Myers School of Theatre Dance

Here at B M Myers School of Theatre Dance you will find a very professional service with a friendly atmosphere! We are fully qualified with the IDTA, fully insured and CRB checked. We have a huge variety of classes for all ages and abilities, our youngest pupil is 2 years old and we have no limit on age at the other end of the spectrum! Our classes include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Disco, Street, Theatre Craft, Dancercise, Cheerleading, Musical Theatre and Gymnastics. If you join our school you will not be disappointed as we do a theatre production every year that the whole school is invited to take part in and usually perform at other events throughout the year such as Arches dance performance at the Octagon and the Stannington Carnival to mention a couple. We also do exams with the IDTA but these are not compulsory. What you do at our school is decided by you and there is no pressure at all to join in with any of our events, if you just want to come for fun then that’s absolutely fine! Or on the other hand if you are wanting a career from dance, we can help you with this too and offer private lessons for pupils wishing to progress further.
