Formally Chrystie School of Theatre Dance, the school has been running for over 50 years. In 2012 current principal Miss Katie Quimby took over the school and has continued with providing dance education of the highest standard across the theatre subjects and in Freestyle, Musical Theatre and Street. The school is continuing to grow and now boats a healthy boys street class. Miss Katie is assisted by her class assistants Miss Izzy and Miss Chloe who are currently studying to complete their own teaching qualifications with the association.

Miss Katie Quimby

Principal and Owner

Miss Katie has danced from the age of 4 with the IDTA and undertook her teaching qualifications (Associate Ballet) in 2012. Since then she has furthered her qualifications and most recently has completed her freestyle associate and is currently working towards her Musical Theatre Diploma. She holds a passion for teaching sharing her desire of learning outside the studio in her job as a Primary School teacher.

Miss Chloe Vaughan

Class Assisstant

Miss Chloe has danced from the age of 3, with a short period of absence, and is now studying to take her freestyle associate exam. She is able to support all subjects and has a real flair for Musical Theatre achieving outstanding marks for her own Performers Certificate.
