Budding Arts

I was Ballet crazy at the age of five and introduced to Tap at six. Theatrecraft and Jazz followed by the age of ten. The opportunity of a full time place at a ballet school was offered when I was eleven but my parents were unable to afford the uniform. So I took up drama instead! A lifelong love of dance and the theatre culminated in completing my teaching qualifications with the I.D.T.A. I danced professionally until family life took over. I am now a Life Member of the I.D.T.A. and enjoy seeing my students grow in confidence and ability through the classes I offer. I have 100% student examination pass rate and can offer both I.D.T.A. examinations and Arts Award qualifications (Bronze and Silver - equivilent to half/one GCSE and Gold with valid UCAS points). I have current DBS and am fully insured. I am trained in Life Support and have an Honours degree in Physiology. I enjoy Tap the most and aim to encourage all my pupils to enjoy it as much as I do.
