Gina trained at Northern
Ballet School in Manchester;
where she graduated with
the award for
‘Choreographer of the year’.
In order to pursue her dream
of travel, Gina began dancing
with a jazz company touring
France and Italy, before
returning to dance in the UK
and Channel Isles.
She has worked in all genres
of the entertainment industry
including Musical Theatre,
Pantomime and Summer
Season. After another spell
performing abroad, Gina
began choreographing
alongside performing. She
loves this part of her career
as it has offered her the
chance to be involved in
musical theatre, commercial
videos, cabaret, cruise ships
and corporate events.
Finally, Gina has enjoyed
working as a freelance dance
teacher since 1999, teaching
all styles of dance and
musical theatre to students
both young and old. She
holds qualifications in Ballet
Tap, Modern and Freestyle
but specializes in delivering
Classical dance, Dance
Studies and Jazz at the
Academy.Laura KellyDance and Dance Teacher trainingLaura was born in the North East and at age 15 auditioned for ‘Bird College’ in Kent and was accepted
onto their full-time musical theatre course with a scholarship. She was a member of the Bird Theatre
Company which toured England and Europe.
On completion of her Diploma Laura moved to Cornwall to take up the position of head dancer for a wellestablished
holiday company, where she enjoyed traveling around the west coast appearing in a variety of
shows and cabarets.
In addition to working as a professional dancer Laura trained with the I.D.T.A to become a qualified
teacher in all Theatre Branch subjects and is a Fellow member of the association. She passed her Ballet
and Tap Fellowship in 2014 with flying colours and hopes to gain examiner status in the near future. Since
returning to the North East she has established herself as a free-lance teacher and choreographer –
working in colleges and universities across the region; she is also holds the title of boys tap coach for ‘Billy
Elliot the musical’. As well as teaching Laura spends her time giving workshops, choreographing for local
